MusicJumpstart is a growing creative initiative founded by hip-hop artist and artrepreneur Red Shaydez, dedicated to equipping independent musicians and music-adjacent creatives with the tools, confidence, and structure to build sustainable careers. First imagined in 2020, the concept was sparked after the success of Red Shaydez’s workshop, “How to Jumpstart a Music Career in Boston,” which revealed a clear need for accessible, culturally relevant artist development resources in the city and beyond.

More than just a bootcamp, MusicJumpstart is a multi-layered platform offering consultations, training, strategic guidance, and collaborative opportunities for emerging artists and creatives in the early to beginning-mid stages of their careers.
